Who's to blame?

March 8, 2019

What would it take for you to completely own one of your own failures, mistakes or mess ups?

To take total responsibility without blame or excuses. You see, we all mess up at times; but few have the character to own up to them.

Humility goes to your kid, spouse, loved one, employee and takes responsibility for your part of the problem.

When we humble ourselves and ask for forgiveness of others we are doing what is right. We are saying, our relationship together matters more than my need to be right. You matter to me!

When we model for our kids that we don't always get it right, we are showing them how to solve problems, take responsibility, and become mature adults. Plus they respect you more in the long run and become willing to hear what you have to say.

What adjustments to your relationships need to be made?
