Day #29 kindness challenge
Today’s mission: turn off your device and really listen to someone.
Our devices have played a huge part in the deterioration of our relationships.
If you know me at all, you’ve heard me talk about needed to learn skills to manage technology instead of allowing technology to manage you.
With that said, you are not alone in the struggle. I have felt the pull of having to “check my phone”.
This tends to come more when I’m feeling an uncomfortable emotion. Studies have shown that scrolling is now a form of numbing.
Moms, before you collect all the devices and throw them out, can I say, that is unrealistic in our digital world.
This is one of the things we work through in my workshops using my unique 5D launchpad method and unhackability tools.
Anyway, I’m here to tell you that there are ways we can really learn to be present for the ones we love most in spite of the distractions!
Step 1: put your phone down today and give someone your full and undivided attention. Comment below with a word or emojis to let me know you completed the mission.
What did you notice about that interaction?
