People Pleasing

Are you a recovering people pleaser?

I for one, know that this has been an area of struggle in my life.

In an article published in Psychology Today, the author identified some signs that you are people pleasing.

For our benefit, I'd like to list a few.

1. You feel responsible for how others feel

2. You apologize often

3. You can't say No

4. You feel uncomfortable if someone is angry at you and it leads you to compromise your values

✅If you can relate to any of these signs, maybe you should ask yourself what need you are trying to meet.

✅Reminder: you can only control your own feelings, thoughts, and emotions. Not anyone else's and it is not your responsibility to try.

✅What are your values? (working with a coach can help you discover these)

✅What would it take to be true to your values?

What if you took some time to identify what is really important to you and then lived it?
