This photo was taken by a friend at our daughter's dance recital. We laughed hard when we noticed that someone's arm was obstructing the photo. I wondered if we would have noticed if we had glasses on when we took the picture?
It made me think of the lens that we look at the world through. These lenses can be positive or negative. Some would call it "spin", but the wise will call it perspective.
When we look through our lens, what are we seeing?
Are we seeing all the negative things? If so, we are missing the joy of experiencing life to the fullest. The negative lens will cloud our judgment and we will miss the blooming roses that are growing right next to us.
Take time to evaluate which lens might be obstructing your view. How will you re-focus your lens?
