Reflections from a Dance competition continued: Day 5
Ever feel alone and scared when on the stage of life?
I know I have! Sometimes, when you are out there doing your thing, (whatever it is) you can feel like you are not making a difference.
It almost makes you want to quit! Throw up your hands and say, "uncle"!
Watching those dancers out there, all alone, on that big stage brought with it thoughts of fear. All the "what ifs" racing through my mind. Wanting to do the best possible job and deliver a valuable performance.
It's at those times we need to ask yourself some questions.
Who are your fans? Who are the people who are supporting you and pouring into your life?
You have fans! They are watching you and cheering you on behind the scenes and in the audience (sometimes we just can't see them)
Why am I doing what I'm doing? Is it because God gifted you and you want to share it with the world?
Do you love what you are doing?
If so, then you are on the right track.
If not, remind yourself that the process is meant to be enjoyed.
This is our one life, that we get to live, and we get to choose whether we will enjoy it or not.
