This quote spoke to my heart today: "Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect." Mark Twain
We live in a culture right now that refuses to think for itself. People following strict party lines in politics which interferes with problems being solved and change occurring. There is guilt on both sides of the aisle, functioning without empathy, compassion, or critical thinking.
As parents, we can make a difference.
What if we focused on helping our teens and tweens become problem solvers and critical thinkers?
This does not happen on its own; it takes intentional parenting. This is one area we will be learning about in the Parenting with Intention workshop for Parents of teens and tweens starting on Feb. 21st on Zoom. Register at LivingFullLifeCoaching.com
As parents, we can help our kids access their Prefrontal cortex (the area of the brain for higher thinking) and create new pathways in their brains. You can be part of the brain-building crew in your home.
What steps can you take today to be intentional about your parenting?
