Are you in a season of drought? A time where it seems like nothing will ever be right again? If so, ponder this picture, farmers know that in order for crops to grow, the land has to be broken up. It's the same in life. Sometimes we need to be broken up too. If everything that happens in our life is always good, then there is no reason to grow and change. When we are in the midst of the breaking process, it's sometimes hard to remember that it will be temporary. But we MUST REMEMBER THAT THIS TIME WILL PASS. IT WILL NOT ALWAYS FEEL LIKE THIS. It will get better. Know that you will grow, you will get stronger, you will bear fruit when you get through this. I think Kelly Clarkson was onto something when she said, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". When things appear to be falling apart, keep your eyes on the new things that will come. “Don’t be concerned that things appear to be falling apart: this has to happen in order for something new and wonderful to emerge.” — Marianne Williamson What if we changed our perspective? What if we looked at this time as necessary for the next big breakthrough that will happen in your life? What if we looked at this time with excitement and anticipation of what good is going to come from this? What if we called on our courage, put aside our fear of the unknown, and trusted the One who knows the beginning from the end? What ways do you find your focus in the midst of a drought?
