Smiling does a lot of great things for us and others. When we smile, our brains release feel-good hormones which fight off stress in our bodies.
Our smiling also helps others to feel more connected to us. It also activates the mirror neurons in the other person's brain to return the smile. Which helps them fight off stress!
When we add laughter, we decrease our blood pressure, anxiety, negative emotions, pain, as well as boosting our immune system! Laughter is the best medicine because it acts as a natural antidepressant.
