πŸ‘‰I used to think OVER doing things was a good thing……

πŸ‘‰I thought, if I Overthink all the possibilities, I could have all my ducks in a row BEFORE I moved forward. If I overdid my thinking process, I would be able to prevent problems from arising.

πŸ‘‰I needed to have all the certifications before I…..

πŸ‘‰I’d rest when……

πŸ‘‰I’d work on that nagging situation when…...

πŸ‘‰I needed to have all of the technology lined up before I could start the next thing……

πŸ‘‰My language sounded like this….when _____happens then I can ______……

πŸ‘‰Can you relate???

πŸ‘‰All of this OVER THINKING about what had to happen BEFORE I COULD accomplish my goals was holding me back.

πŸ‘‰It was really just a neat excuse for UNDER PERFORMING or procrastination.

πŸ‘‰All of this OVERTHINKING and UNDER PERFORMING were producing lots of feelings.

πŸ‘‰Feelings of imbalance, feelings of anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, feeling like something was always missing….

πŸ”₯Enter the OVER/UNDER CYCLE IN another sneaky form. And that is the thing about this OVER/UNDER CYCLE…..it is VERY SNEAKY!

πŸ”₯Then I discovered how to trust my strengths, my abilities, and where I was today, exactly as I am WITH the God who was waiting all along to guide me and lead me. All I needed to do was quiet the OVERTHINKING and hear from Him.

πŸ”₯It took some tools from the toolbox to work through the patterns that were keeping me stuck. And, it was kind of fun to discover what made me tick in a deeper way. It was fun to learn how my brain was working, then how to get it to work FOR ME, instead of AGAINST ME.

πŸ”₯Anyway, I hope this encourages someone out there!
